Robert L. Miedema

Rob Miedema is a partner with Baker Tilly Nova Scotia and leads the legal practice at the affiliated law firm, Harbinger Law. He serves owners and donors in Atlantic Canada with his background in corporate, tax, and estate law, and his interest in professional collaboration. Rob taught part-time at Dalhousie University for more than a decade and is the editor of the Nova Scotia Companies Act & Commentary (2023) and two prior editions, published by LexisNexis Canada. Reflecting Rob’s commitment to purpose-based enterprise, in 2024 Harbinger Law became the 7th Canadian law firm and the 1st in Atlantic Canada to be certified as a B Corporation.
