Originally joining Monarch in 1987, he progressed through various management roles in Sales and Marketing. In 2007, Mitch transitioned to Franklin Electric (NASDAQ: FELE) as part of a strategic divestiture. In his seven years at Franklin, he quickly became their Vice President of Sales and Marketing – Canada & Consumer Divisions. Mitch returned to Monarch in 2014 where he progressed through increasingly senior roles as VP of Sales, Chief Operating Officer, and President & COO, ultimately becoming the Chief Executive Officer in 2022 as part of the latest transaction to a Canadian based private equity ownership structure.
Using sound team-based strategy and most importantly focused execution, Monarch has continued to thrive despite unprecedented international market headwinds. Monarch continued to perform, by relentlessly increasing its market share in diversified platforms and markets coupled with operational excellence driven by a strong team with a desire to win. In so doing, the Company recently completed the largest global expansion in Company history, expanding its flagship manufacturing plant by 110,000 sq ft in Winnipeg, MB and acquiring manufacturing capability and capacity in India.
