Jonathan Khan is the Relationship Director & Market Lead for Atlantic Canada with National Bank of Canada’s National Client Group, which advises middle market Canadian companies and leadership teams on financing solutions and strategies to support growth.

As part of a holistic banking relationship, Jonathan and the NBC team work closely with entrepreneurs seeking to generate liquidity through divestitures to strategic buyers, control/non-control transactions with private equity, management/partner buyouts, public equity processes and non-dilutive debt recapitalizations.

Prior to joining National Bank in 2020, Jonathan spent 4 years at HSBC advising public company clients on financing strategies to optimize working capital and 7 years at Scotiabank in progressively senior corporate banking and risk management roles. He holds a master’s degree in financial economics from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and an honours undergraduate degree in economics from Brock University.
