Ash Modha is the co-founder and CEO of Mondetta Clothing, a Canadian apparel company known for its innovation, design excellence, and commitment to responsible business practices. Since launching the brand in 1986, he has led with a forward-thinking approach to fashion, championing creativity, sustainability, and operational integrity across every facet of the company.
Under his leadership, the Mondetta brand has greatly expanded and now includes performance and lifestyle labels, such as MPG and Modern Ambition, all of which are rooted in the values of design excellence and social responsibility. The latter brand, in particular, is on the cusp of a major relaunch, featuring a completely new menswear-focused collection, a redesigned e-commerce website, and an inaugural flagship retail location in downtown Winnipeg. Ash, a passionate entrepreneur and community advocate, is dedicated to creating products and a company that reflect a better future.
Keen to lend a helping hand, Ash serves on various boards and councils, including co-chairing Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew’s Business and Jobs Council, sitting on the board of the Business Council of Manitoba, and co-chairing the BCM’s Truth and Reconciliation Committee.
