Tyler Weese

Tyler is a Managing Director in Scotiabank’s Private Equity Sponsor Coverage Group, where he leads the origination, structuring, and execution of M&A-related financings for private equity-backed buyers across Canada. With more than 20 years of banking experience, primarily in sponsor finance, Tyler is highly active in the Canadian private equity market and is known for providing strategic advice and tailored financing solutions to clients. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from McMaster University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
