Trever Acers is the Managing Director and Founder of Objective, Investment Banking & Valuation. Recognized as a “CEO Visionary” by LA Times B2B Publishing, Mr. Acers brings over 20 years of expertise in investment banking, acquisitions, and strategic advisory, focusing on advising closely held middle-market companies on transaction execution and strategy.
Under his leadership, Objective’s seasoned professionals have collectively executed over 500 M&A advisory engagements and conducted thousands of business valuations. Mr. Acers has personally closed more than 25 sell-side transactions in the past five years, with notable deals including the sale of La Jolla Logic to Boecore, Beacon Mobile to DRB, and Imagine Reporting to Lexitas. As a key figure in Southern California’s M&A market, Mr. Acers is actively involved with ACG, Tech San Diego, and the Exit Planning Institute, and he regularly shares his insights on podcasts geared towards middle-market businesses.
Before founding Objective, Mr. Acers directed financial and strategic consulting at TGG Capital, led private equity initiatives at The Oxford Investment Group, and managed post-acquisition integration at EMC Corporation. He earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and holds FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
