Mark Wiens

Mark has spent most of his professional life in the Commercial insurance and risk management area.  He bought into a small niche energy based brokerage in Edmonton early in his career.  Over a span of 25 years, the brokerage (Foster Park Brokers Inc.) was able to scale and expand operations across Western Canada.  In November of 2021, Foster Park partnered with a private equity backed brokerage based in New York (NFP). After spending 3 years in the roll of Managing Director commercial lines for NFP in Canada integrating the six sizeable brokerages NFP had purchased Mark has stepped away from the insurance industry and now participates on various boards in a strategic capacity along with investing in a number of companies with the outlook of scale and growth.
