Alan Ligumsky is a seasoned business leader, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and entrepreneur with a career spanning public accounting, corporate finance, and executive leadership.
Alan began his career at KPMG, where he attained his CPA designation and gained a strong foundation in audit, financial reporting, and advisory services. He later joined a boutique corporate finance firm, where he advised clients on mergers, acquisitions, and capital structuring. Building on this expertise, Alan went on to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for several industry-leading companies, where he specialized in financial strategy, operational management, and growth planning.
In 2005, Alan founded Peak Disposal Services Inc., a roll-off waste management company serving Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Under his leadership, Peak Disposal has grown to a fleet of 23 trucks and over 650 bins, supported by over 50 employees. The company is recognized for its focus on new construction waste streams, sustainable disposal practices, and LEED-compliant recycling solutions. Today, Peak Disposal is a trusted partner to some of Vancouver’s largest developers and general contractors.
