Grant is President and owner of the Innovair Group, a third-generation family business with head office located in Winnipeg. The family business was started in 1946 by Grant’s grandfather, and has just over 100 employees between Ontario and Saskatchewan.

The Innovair Group is comprised of four operating companies in both industrial and healthcare sectors: Innovair Industrial is the largest independent distributor of compressed gas and welding supplies in Canada, Innovair Automation is a robotic integration and engineering design business, Medigas Manitoba is a distributor of sleep apnea and respiratory care products, and Innovair Medical distributes medical devices across Canada.

Grant is a graduate of the University of Manitoba (BCom, Hons.), and has attended Harvard Business School’s annual Executive Education program through YPO (Young President’s Organization) for the last 8 years.   Grant has a background in the Balanced Scorecard strategic planning process, Innovation Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
