Since 2011, Darcy Richards has worked to create Perfect Surfaces, Canada’s leading supplier of recycled rubber and specialty flooring. As the Executive Vice President, he continues to guarantee growth and business development, maintain customer satisfaction, while exceeding performance and standards with each fiscal year.

Darcy started Perfect Surfaces after noticing how many tires and rubber products were sitting in landfills. He discovered that not only was this rubber not being reused, but that Canada lacked a supplier for rubber flooring. He continually works to ensure that Perfect Surfaces is bringing customers the safest and highest quality speciality flooring products available.

Alongside Perfect Surfaces, Darcy also built one of the largest Canadian artificial turf companies, Perfect Turf Inc. During his ten years in the synthetic grass business, he expanded Perfect Turf from one location to 17 locations nationwide. Specializing in landscape grass and sports fields, he has consulted and built over 3,000 projects while networking with large-scale turf manufacturers from around North America to bring a stronger artificial turf presence to the Canadian market. Darcy is a pioneer in the artificial turf industry and is credited for being a major contributor to developing the artificial turf industry in Canada. In late 2016, Darcy sold Perfect Turf Inc. to two well known parties within the artificial turf industry.
