Rand Cowell is currently the President of LARK Moai Ventures Inc.  Previously, he was involved as a Board Member and President of G.E. Cowell Holdings Inc. which owned and operated the Cowell Auto Group (CAG).  The CAG was a family business founded in 1967 by his Dad and Rand was instrumental in the strategic growth and operations of the Cowell Auto Group with his family for 35 years.  The CAG was involved in real estate and the retail automotive industry having up to 320 Team Members, 5 franchises and 4 locations in Richmond before selling in 2021 after 54 years of serving the community.  Rand’s belief is that a core responsibility of any business is to give back to the community with money as well as time and this is an integral part of developing high performing and engaged cultures. 

Rand has served on several local Boards as well as President of National Dealer Advisory Councils for Manufacturers represented by the Cowell Auto Group.  He believes that part of his business success has come through active involvement in peer mentoring groups like the MacKay Forum Group which he has been involved with for 10 years.

Rand is a graduate of UBC’s Sauder School of Business with his BComm in Finance and Economics.  Rand and his wife Kelly want to leave the world in a better place.  He lives in White Rock, enjoys travelling with his family and is a passionate Pickleball player.
