Mr. Kook is the President, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Westcap Mgt. Ltd.,  Saskatchewan’s largest private equity fund manager with assets under management of over $1.0 Billion.  In the course of the last 25 years, Mr. Kook, through his company and executive team has invested in all stages of growth and sectors on behalf of average working Canadians, high net worth families, Credit Unions, financial banking institutions, Pension Funds and investors from around the world. Mr. Kook has broad board experience as Chair of SaskTel as well as the University of Saskatchewan’s Land Trust corporation (USask Properties Investment Inc.), the former Chair of Saskatchewan Blue Cross and Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, and current Investment Committee member of Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation Pension Fund. Mr. Kook is the recipient of the 2013 Saskatchewan Order of Merit as well as numerous other awards for his contributions and volunteerism. He has earned the Chartered Director Designation from McMaster University DeGroote School of Business.
