Julie McGill is Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator with a stellar track record of financial management, business leadership and community involvement. Julie joined Fulmer & Company as partner in 2016 to help entrepreneurs of small and mid-sized companies scale their businesses and strategically navigate the world of corporate finance.

Throughout Julie’s career, she’s worked with businesses of all sizes, from the smallest family business to global operations, and is able to bring a wide-range of financial solutions to the table, advising businesses on how to grow in the most economically efficient ways possible.

Originally hailing from the West Coast, Julie graduated from McGill University in 1999 with her Bachelor of Commerce Degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance. From there, she went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting in 2001, became a Chartered Accountant in 2002, and a Chartered Business Valuator in 2005.

Julie earned her CA and CBV designations working at professional service firms Roll Harris & Associates in Montreal and Mackay LLP in Yellowknife, before moving to Ernst & Young Vancouver’s office, where she became VP, working across a variety of industry sectors. Prior to joining Fulmer & Company, Julie was a Director at CAI, a leading mid-mark private equity firm.

Active in the business community and the public sector, Julie is currently Director of BlueShore Financial Credit Union and has held a number of roles on both private company and not-for-profit boards. She is a member of the BC Association of Women in Finance, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.

When she’s not working, Julie is an avid traveller, podcast listener and huge fan of pretty much every kind of home reno show out there.
