Michael is a Director in Grant Thornton’s Transactions practice based in Toronto. Michael joined the Grant Thornton Transaction team in 2017 after spending several years with the firm’s assurance practice. Since joining the team, Michael has worked on a broad range of corporate finance and M&A engagements, with aggregate transaction value of over $1.0 billion. He has experience working with a diversified group of clients in various industries including power and utilities, retail, manufacturing, consumer services, transportation and logistics, alternative fuels, and others.

Michael successfully completed his CFE examination in 2016, and obtained his CPA, CA designation in 2018. In 2020, Michael obtained his CBV designation, having completed the Membership Qualification Exam and receiving the silver medal for achieving the second highest result in the country.
