Dr. Christine Sawchuk is President and CEO, CBV Institute, Canada’s pre-eminent professional valuation organization dedicated to training and accreditation in the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets.

As President & CEO, Christine is responsible for oversight of all aspects of CBV Institute’s operations, strategy, and success. She has primary responsibility for communications with Members and Students, as well as with external stakeholders, including media, accounting, legal, and investment firms, regulators, and other organizations in the valuation profession in Canada, the U.S. and worldwide. Christine was

previously CBV Institute’s Director of Education (2014-2020), and has held senior-level positions in various public practice firms, where she provided business valuation services for a wide range of purposes, including income-tax compliance, transaction support, and litigation support.

Having earned a Master of Education and Doctor of Education, Christine is also a CPA, CA and CBV.
