Alexa Nick is Managing Partner at Level5 Strategy, a boutique management consulting firm. Alexa has had an extensive career that has bridged consulting, entrepreneurship and industry experience. Alexa began her career as a management consultant with Kearney’s Strategy and Operations Practice, where she focused her efforts on building the firm’s mergers and acquisitions capabilities. As a Principal at Kearney, Alexa brought her expertise and thought leadership in corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise transformation.

In 2007, she pursued her goals of entrepreneurship by founding and launching myPractice, a virtual learning platform supporting global organizations. In 2010, Alexa successfully sold myPractice to BottomLine Group, a boutique consultancy where she continued as a Partner to build and grow the business. In 2019, she successfully sold and exited the business and joined Deloitte to help build Deloitte Private Consulting for mid-market companies. In 2021, Alexa returned to her entrepreneurial passion and joined Level5 Strategy to help continue to grow the business.

A long-time supporter of Western University and the Ivey Business School, Alexa is currently the Chair of the Western Entrepreneurship Advisory Board. Alexa has also supported various efforts across the Ivey Alumni Association, Ivey’s Women in Leadership, and the LEADER Project. Over her career, she has dedicated her time supporting not-for-profit organizations such as the Merit Awards and Covenant House, that focus on under-privileged youth and minorities. Alexa is a member of Women Get on Board to continue to explore how she can contribute to how Canadian businesses grow and thrive.

A Montreal native, Alexa graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in Economics and went on to complete an MBA with distinction at the Ivey. Alexa is also a certified Executive Coach. In her spare time, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family skiing, hiking and cottaging and enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer.
