Laura Vaughan is the Ontario Regional Director with MacKay CEO Forums, also chairing 2 CEO
groups and 1 Execuve peer group in Toronto.
She is also the CEO of carrythe3 inc., enabling the world’s Managers and their CEOs to
build and lead more abundant workplaces.
She brings to her work a CPA designation, a degree in Music Performance from the University of
Western Ontario and a Master’s in Management and Professional Accounting from the
University of Toronto. She earned her leadership stripes during her 7 years as President of a $40M
manufacturing business, through the 2008 economic crisis – an intense season of recrafting
strategy and reigniting culture while also restructuring for profitability (and raising two children
under four).
Her other leadership roles include COO of a full-service law firm and General Manager of a 200-
person contract manufacturing business in the personal care industry, before leaving corporate in
favour of a more entrepreneurial journey.
Today, she’s on a mission to help the world’s leaders show up more competent and more
confident, so the world’s workers can do the same. Laura’s life experiences include scaling literal
mountains (figurative ones too), dragging herself over the finish line of a half-ironman and
saving the life of one 88-year-old man.
