Tyler is an M&A advisor, investor and member of the deal team at Tricor Pacific Capital, a Vancouver-based family office that invests its own capital in long-term, majority acquisitions of mature businesses and real estate. Tricor has acquired over 100 companies since inception and currently holds a portfolio of more than 20 active businesses across food, industrial, real estate, and land development. Tyler originates proprietary transactions and participates across all stages of the deal process while actively supporting Tricor’s portfolio companies and growth initiatives. He serves on the Boards of Rockmount Research and Alloys and Big Country Equipment Repair.
Tyler is drawn to working with founders and owner-operators who care deeply about the legacy of what they’ve built, helping them find the right partnership for the next chapter. A generalist by nature, he has evaluated and executed transactions across manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, industrial services, and business services. Prior to joining Tricor, Tyler served as AVP of Corporate Development & M&A at Decisive Dividend Corporation, where he oversaw the M&A process and executed multiple acquisitions in Western Canada and the UK. He previously held senior investment advisory roles at Scotiabank, BMO, and Interior Savings. Tyler holds a BA in Economics from the University of Manitoba.
