Garth MacDonald is the former President and CEO of G-Mac’s AgTeam Inc., an agricultural retail company he founded in 2000. Starting with three locations, he grew the business to 14 retail outlets and a head office in Kindersley before successfully selling the company to Simplot in 2023. In 2019, he partnered with WestCap to support the company’s continued growth and expansion.
Born in Rosetown and raised on a farm near Stranraer, Saskatchewan, he began his career in a variety of roles including a Coca-Cola truck driver, a John Deere farm machinery salesman, and managing and owning an Imperial Oil agency from 1991 to 2000. He went on to found and lead G-Mac’s AgTeam for over two decades before its sale.
