Arc After School & Experiential Education

Brad Lupien is founder and CEO of arc, a k12 education company. At its core, arc is a team of 1200 teachers, mentors, guides and coaches that contracts with schools and school districts to facilitate before and after school programs, enrichment clubs and outdoor education programs.  Brad’s career began as a teacher and social worker in the juvenile justice system and as a special education teacher in Boston, MA. He co-founded arc (www.arc-experience.com) in 2001.

Previous board roles include Just in Time for Foster Youth, Temple Solel, Interfaith Family, Learning in After School & Summer (LIAS), the youth Take Action Campaign, and the San Diego Education Synergy Project. Lupien is a team member of the Policy Committee for California Expanded Learning Division (EXLD) of the California Department of Education, a Steering Committee member of the California Afterschool Advocacy Alliance (CA3) and is appointed by California Senator Pro Tem Toni Atkins to the Governor’s California Before- and After-School Advisory Board.
