Abhi Mathews founded Minerva Valuations to give business owners valuation and M&A advice from someone who has worked on both sides of a deal, including in management and on the board of a public company. He is a FINRA-licensed investment banker and one of the few business valuators with both Bay Street and Wall Street experience. He has advised on M&A transactions alongside debt and equity raises, go-public deals and other financings. He has qualified as an expert witness in financial matters and has assisted courts in Ontario, Alberta, California, Texas, Florida and Delaware, among other jurisdictions.
Abhi has governance experience with public and private companies and not-for-profits, including chairing the audit committee of a Nasdaq-listed company and founding a children’s charity. He advises entrepreneurs in Canada and the U.S. and has served on the organizing committee for CFA Society New York’s Ben Graham Conference.
