Ryan Newell is the President and CEO of Spinrite Yarns.  Ryan joined Spinrite in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President and CEO in 2008.  Under Ryan’s leadership, Spinrite has grown to be the largest craft yarn company in North America with over 1,000 employees.  Spinrite is well known for its Red Heart, Bernat, Caron, Patons and Lily Sugar n’ Cream brands, as well as its online inspiration hub, Yarnspirations.com.

Ryan has led Spinrite through five ownership changes and has spent the past 15 years working with three different private equity partners.

Ryan and his family live in Waterloo, Ontario.  Ryan enjoys most outdoor activities including wakesurfing and skiing.
