Tina leads the Business and Family Advisory Services team. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensure the ongoing execution of business strategy and viability of our offering in support of providing planning expertise and guidance to affluent families with complex issues and structures and business owners, especially in the area of business succession planning.
Tina has a wealth of relevant experience both in financial services leading major strategic initiatives and teams dedicated to retirement, tax and estate planning and in public accounting at major accounting firms where she worked exclusively with executives and business owners in developing comprehensive tax, estate and cross-border planning strategies.
Tina is a Chartered Professional Accountant, (CPA, CA) and holds both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations. In 2012 she was awarded the distinction of FELLOW of FPSC for her dedication and commitment to advancing FPSC’s vision of seeing Canadians improve their lives by engaging in financial planning. In 2015 she obtained the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation.
Tina is also an author, having published a bestseller, “52 ways to wreck your retirement…and how to rescue it”, is often quoted in newspapers and has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows. An experienced speaker and lecturer, she has presented at over 300 advisor and client facing events. She has developed and facilitated numerous national training programs for advisors in the wealth and insurance industries.
