Corinne Larkin

Atlantic Regional Director, CBV Institute Board of Directors & Principal, Grant Thornton LLP

I am the Atlantic Regional Director on the CBV Institute’s Board of Directors and a Principal in the Advisory practice with Grant Thornton in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Using a thorough and collaborative approach, I take the time to understand my clients’ unique business situation and provide them with the information they need to make informed decisions to help meet their valuation needs.

I specialize in business valuation and litigation support services. My areas of expertise include valuation for financial reporting purposes, quantifying damages arising from matrimonial rights, shareholder disputes, personal injury, and business interruption, as well as valuing business interests in relation to buying and selling companies and corporate reorganizations. For more than 16 years, I’ve worked with small- and medium-sized entities and large public companies across a wide range of industries.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax in 2003, I obtained my Chartered Accountant designation in 2008 and my Chartered Business Valuator designation in 2015.

I’m passionate about supporting and promoting the valuation profession, which is why I joined the CBV Institute’s Board of Directors.

Before joining Grant Thornton, I worked at a large public accounting firm on their valuation team and at a local firm in their assurance group where I gained the core accounting and financial analysis skills that allow me to succeed in my current role.

Outside of work, I like to spend time travelling and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and biking.
