I’m the leader for tax services in Nova Scotia and a partner with Grant Thornton.

As a family enterprise advisor, I develop close business relationships with my clients to pinpoint what’s most important to them and bring timely and thoughtful solutions to their family business.  I have significant experience working with our clients and practice groups in Nova Scotia—the agriculture and fishing industries, and succession and estate planning.

Clients seek my advice on many business and financial matters. I focus on providing corporate and personal tax planning, complex corporate reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions for private business clients. I’m able to help spot the opportunities and potential pitfalls for clients in their businesses.

I enjoy sharing best practices and knowledge with peers having presented at the Atlantic Provinces Tax Conference on tax legislation impacting the agriculture and fishing sectors. I’ve also published papers through the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Personally, I enjoy golf, travel, and time with my family, and being involved in their many activities.
