As President, CEO and co-owner of Lindsay Construction, Cory leads his team with a unique combination of analytical business acumen, technical expertise and a strong emphasis on authentic connections. Cory began with the company 20 years ago as a Site Engineer and progressed to various senior positions, a history which contributes to his appreciation for all facets of the job. The core of his business philosophy is rooted in excellence, as it applies to projects, teams and client satisfaction. During Cory’s tenure, Lindsay Construction has become the premier general contracting company in Atlantic Canada.

Widely regarded for this commitment to philanthropy and community, Cory has led support for numerous events and charities. He serves on the Board of Directors for the IWK Foundation and has chaired the Great Big Dig for three years. He is a long-time supporter of the Ride to Conquer Cancer and in 2014, he co‐founded Trailblazer for Cancer, a flagship community fundraiser that has raised over $650,000 for cancer charities. Among the other causes he supports include the United Way, Children’s Wish Foundation, Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Centre and Habitat for Humanity. In 2016 he received the Courage to Give Back Award from Family S.O.S. and in 2017 he received the Inspire Award from Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Cory graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science and the Technical University of Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Under his leadership, Lindsay Construction was named one of Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies from 2014 to 2018 and Cory has been named a Top 50 CEO by Atlantic Business Magazine from 2014 to 2018 and Hall of Fame Recipient In 2018. In 2018 he was presented the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Business to Business category.

Cory lives in Halifax with his family and has a passion for travel, outdoor sports and good design.
