Jeffrey McCain

Founder & President, Woodward Capital

Jeffrey was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick and raised in Toronto, Canada. Jeff comes from a multi-generational business and entrepreneurial family. His childhood and early professional career were spent working with and advising family-owned enterprises with an owner-operator approach to entrepreneurship. Jeff joined The Sponsor M&A Group at Goldman Sachs in 2018 and managed all aspects of diligence, negotiation, and deal execution in companies between $10mm and $200mm of EBITDA. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Jeff spent three years in the M&A Group at Atlas Advisors, a lower middle market focused investment bank based in NYC. Jeff has overseen dozens of capital raise, financing, strategic advisory and M&A transactions representing over $10Bn in enterprise value.
