As a Chartered Business Valuator, Jillian has either valued or advised on transactions with clients in a variety of industries, some of which include: construction and real estate, retail, restaurants and food service, municipal, manufacturing and processing, information technology, and professional services. Jillian focuses mainly on mid to large size private companies in Atlantic Canada, having worked with many of the region’s largest family owned enterprises.

When advising on a transaction, Jillian brings value to her clients through deal experience and a team-based approach – working with the client, their legal counsel and their bankers. This often includes advising on buy/sell side mandates, management buyouts, transaction financing, and quality of earnings and due diligence engagements.

Outside of work, Jillian enjoys travelling with her family to as many of the world’s best beaches as possible. From a community standpoint, Jillian sits on the board of the Grant Thornton Foundation and is regularly involved in micro-volunteering initiatives to help match organizations in need with professionals in the community to help out on small but mighty initiatives.
