Howard is a director at Baker Tilly Capital. As an experienced corporate finance professional, he specializes in M&A and has also practiced in private equity, mezzanine finance and corporate development. Prior to joining Baker Tilly Capital, Howard worked in Toronto and Vancouver on buy- and sell-side engagements for industrial, energy, technology, food, transportation, real estate development and financial sector clients. Deals he worked on typically ranged from seven to nine figures and were as large as USD $1 billion. Howard also provides clients the lens of a professional investor, given his equities portfolio management experience. He endeavors to put all his buy- and sell-side experience to work when helping entrepreneurs and business owners monetize their life’s work so they can create the legacies they have always envisioned for themselves and their families. Howard has held the CFA designation since 2007. He double-majored in business administration and economics at Simon Fraser University, where he graduated with first class honors.
