Alex Parker is a Managing Director in the Private Company M&A team, having joined National Bank in 2020. Prior to National Bank, Alex worked for seven years at BMO Financial Group, where he was a Managing Director, Mid-Market M&A, advising entrepreneurs on buying and selling businesses.

Prior to his role at BMO, Alex worked for Nomura, a Japanese-headquartered global investment bank, working in the Industrials Investment Banking group in London and the Energy and Mining Investment Banking group in Toronto.

Alex started his career with KPMG in 2000, working for the firm in Toronto, Sydney and London, and earning the CPA / CA and CFA^® designations.
