Daniel is a Partner based in BDO’s Winnipeg office where he leads BDO’s financial advisory services practice for the Prairies and Northern Ontario. He has close to 20 years of experience working in public practice focusing on advisory, valuation, and financial modelling services for transaction, corporate planning, and litigation support working with companies from across the country. Daniel has been qualified as an expert witness and testified in numerous legal proceedings in the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench, Manitoba Land Values Appraisal Commission, Manitoba Disaster Assistance Appeal Board, and arbitration proceedings in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Daniel has authored valuation reports and loss quantification reports for internal and external transactions, shareholder and family law disputes, and for regulatory purposes. Daniel has wide-ranging experience across multiple industries, including agribusiness, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, and technology.  

Daniel’s recent professional development activities include presentations and lectures on a number of valuation, transaction, and litigation support topics to the membership of the Canadian Manufacturers’ & Exporters, Robson Hall Faculty of Law, Western Manitoba Bar Association, Tech Manitoba, Manitoba Risk Management Association, Family Enterprise Xchange, and Entrepreneurship Manitoba.

In his community, Daniel is on the Advisory Board for the Misericordia Health Centre and the Board of Directors of Collaborative Practice Canada.
