Brent is a seasoned entrepreneur, having started, operated and sold two sizeable companies before co-founding Sequoia Mergers & Acquisitions in 2007. In his 20’s, Brent co-founded a Los Angeles based technology consulting firm, which engineered the first large scale implementation of ATMs in the USA. After successfully selling his consulting firm, Brent started a San Diego based software development company which he grew to provide essential software solutions to Fortune 100 clients.
At the time this company was sold, it had a worldwide installed base, employed 120 professionals and was generating over $20M in annual sales. With a proven deal making track record, Brent was then recruited as the Worldwide VP of Sales for a company based in Marseille, France, in which capacity he lived and worked in Switzerland, France, United Kingdom & United Arab Emirates prior to moving back to Canada with his wife and young children.
As the Managing Broker at Sequoia, Brent has been strategically selling some of BC’s best mid-market businesses for several years. He is a seasoned transaction expert, and loves generating maximum market value for his client’s businesses.
