A SAFE BTF VANCOUVER EXPERIENCE
We know that some of you may still be apprehensive about attending an event in-person. So, we wanted to let you know that the safety of our community is our priority.
As leaders in the conference space, we’ve been keeping an eye on large events that have taken place as per regulations across Canada. It has been encouraging to see Lions & Whitecaps games have occurred for some time in Vancouver, which have had no outbreaks. This shows that large events are safe when hosted properly, especially with a fully vaccinated audience.
In fact, research is showing that attending a large in-person business event is safer than many daily activities and does not increase COVID-19 cases. Furthermore, according to scientific modeling, in-person business meetings pose a near-zero (0.001%) risk of COVID-19 transmission with proper safety protocols in place.
BTF Vancouver will operate with the following protocols in place:
Current Government Mandates Enforced (no exceptions)
- Proof of full vaccination required
- Mask required
- Capacity limits in venue
A Safe Venue Space
- Enhanced ventilation and air purifying system at the Westin Bayshore
- Spacious rooms to allow for distancing
- Masks on-site for anyone who’s forgotten theirs
- Ample hand sanitizer
- All attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend BTF Vancouver
We are taking extra precautions, beyond those mandated by Public Health Authorities and The Westin Bayshore to ensure our event is exceeding the health and safety expectations set locally.
While we are optimistic about where we are headed, we understand you may need some extra flexibility this year. If, at any time, it is determined that the event will not take place in November 2021 due to government-implemented health guidelines, you will automatically receive complimentary access to the next BTF event or the option for a full refund. We are also offering a flexible cancellation policy for ticket holders.
Please check back periodically for updates to our health and safety protocols.
