Artist, sculptor, entrepreneur, inventor, Bermingham’s work has been recognized for its elegance, simplicity, depth of thought, clarity of purpose and boldness of vision. A rich mix of complementary skills and experience, from real-time interactive media installations to large-scale permanent architectural work in Canada and internationally. Bermingham studied Sculpture at St. Martins School of Fine Art, in the UK, instructors included Tim Scott, Phillip King, Francisco Gazitua, Tony Smart, and Sir Anthony Caro. Worked as an assistant to Sir Anthony Caro and Tim Scott and was invited to represent Canada in the first International Sculpture Symposium in Marusici, Yugoslavia. (At 14, apprenticed with sculptor Elizabeth Bradford Holbrook CM.) Commissions: Memorial Sculpture, Lee Academy, Lynden ON; International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 793, Oakville ON; and emblem, Hollinger International, Toronto ON. Elected into Sculptors Society of Canada, 2020. Studio based in Dundas ON. 

For the last few years, he has worked in sylvan studio in Ontario as well as travelling to Puente Alto, Chile to work alongside his friend, the noted sculptor Francisco Gazitua.
