As a partner in RSM Canada’s tax practice, Stephen provides integrated Canadian income tax advice and solutions to the firm’s clients and network partners. With over 13 years of experience, Stephen’s practice primarily focuses on tax diligence and structuring of M&A transactions for middle market private companies on both the buy side and sell side. Stephen also advises owner managed businesses on identifying tax planning opportunities and structuring of corporate reorganizations. Stephen is responsible for technical development of senior staff and supports the internal tax risk and quality management function for the tax practice. He also works closely with the partner leadership group to identify emerging tax issues that may be delivered to the firm’s clients and in the marketplace.
