Danish Jamal, CPA, CA, CFA, CBV, is a Director in MNP’s Corporate Finance team. Based in Toronto, Danish works closely with publicly-listed and privately-held companies, advising them across a wide range of complex transactions and key strategic initiatives. His expertise covers varying industries that include niche manufacturing and value-added distribution, industrial products and services, specialty business services, food and beverage, construction and engineering, and information technology.

Focusing on corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financings, Danish provides strategic advice and related services to family-owned and entrepreneurial businesses to support and facilitate their long-term growth, liquidity and succession goals and objectives. Drawing on over a decade of accounting, finance  and transaction advisory experience, Danish employs a collaborative and pragmatic approach to negotiate successful outcomes for his clients.

Danish is also well-versed in identifying the capital needs of his clients, and sourcing debt or equity capital that best addresses their current and future requirements. He is highly proficient at building, reviewing and critiquing financial models for varying types of initiatives, purposes, and stakeholders. Danish is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) who holds a Honours Bachelors in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo. He is also qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
