Sarah Gingrich practices corporate/commercial law with a focus on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border and private equity transactions.

Acting for issuers, underwriters and investors in capital-market financing transactions, Sarah has extensive experience with public and private equity and debt financings and initial public offerings.

In addition to advising on public and private M&A and reorganization transactions, Sarah also advises companies, directors and shareholders on proxy contests, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations and general regulatory compliance matters. Recognized for her expertise and client service as an Acritas “Star Lawyer” and by the Legal 500 Canada, Sarah often provides market insight to business media outlets, including Reuters, BNN News and the Globe and Mail.

Prior to joining Fasken in Calgary, Sarah practiced at a large international law firm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and at another prominent national law firm in Calgary. Sarah also summered, articled and worked as an associate at Fasken’s Toronto offices.
