James Robertson is Director, Growth & Transition Capital in our Edmonton office. James joined BDC in 2014, bringing with him 17 years of experience in the financial sector, serving both institutional clients and small and medium-sized enterprises. Over the years, he has developed specialized expertise in energy services, real estate construction and investment, and in the manufacturing and retail industries. Finding creative financing solutions that can help a company achieve its objectives is James’ primary goal. However, being able to work with and learn from Alberta’s best and brightest entrepreneurs is his favourite part of the job. He is passionate about playing a meaningful role in helping Alberta-based companies realize their full potential to the benefit of their owners, employees and the province’s economy.
