Glenn Huber is Founder and Managing Partner of Chrysalis Acquisition Partners Inc. and President of Chrysalis Capital Advisors Inc. Since inception in 2001, Chrysalis has facilitated over $500 million of SME financing and M&A transactions in Canada and the United States.
Glenn has more than 30 years of extensive capital markets and entrepreneurial business experience across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, including the oil & gas, information technology, media & entertainment, consumer products, biotechnology and manufacturing sectors. Mr. Huber oversees the strategic direction and management of the various components of Chrysalis’ business platform and maintains a “hands-on” approach to all of the firm’s key initiatives and strategic relationships.
Prior to establishing Chrysalis, Mr. Huber was primarily responsible for establishing U.S.-based investment dealer Raymond James Financial Inc.’s initial presence in Canada as Senior Managing Director and prior thereto held senior investment banking positions with RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Midland Walwyn Capital Inc. and Wood Gundy Inc.
Glenn initiated his capital markets career with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith in the firm’s Wall Street head office after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University in 1984. Mr. Huber happily resides in Calgary with his family as a third generation Calgarian where he coaches minor hockey and participates in senior men’s competitive beer league hockey, high handicap golf and mid-pack marathon running.
