Are you rescheduling the spring conferences that were postponed due to COVID-19? 

We are pleased to announce all spring events that had been postponed due to COVID-19 will be rescheduled in the fall of 2020.  Please check our event website for the latest information. 


I had previously bought a ticket to a postponed spring event.  What happens now? 

All tickets purchased for postponed events will get a 100% credit towards any event in 2020 or 2021 (across all of our brands including The Business Transitions Forum, or SAAS NORTH). 


Will the program and venue of the rescheduled spring events be the same? 

We are doing our best to work with the speakers and venues to provide the original program.  There will inevitably be some minor content changes, but we can ensure that the quality will be the same. 


What happens if I register and then get sick, or need to change my travel plans? 

Considering current and future health and travel concerns, we have relaxed our registration and cancellation policies.  If you need to cancel due to COVID-19, we are happy to waive our administration fee and grant a full credit for you to attend in 2020 or 2021.  We have also removed all substitution fees. If you have a question about this policy, please contact 

Who can purchase a 2-year pass?

Entrepreneurs, such as business owners, partners and c-suite of privately-owned businesses can purchase a 2-year pass.

When does my 2-year pass activate and expire? 

Your 2 year pass activates on the day of purchase, and expires two years from that date. You can attend a maximum of two events over two years from the date of purchase. The date of the second conference attended must be within a 2 year period from date of purchase.  If you attend two Business Transitions Forum conferences prior to the expiry date, your pass will automatically terminate.

Which cities does the Business Transitions Forum occur in?  May I attend any city using my pass?

Yes, your pass is transferrable to any city in which the Business Transitions Forum is held.  Regardless of city in which you attend, you may still attend only two conferences in total.  Currently, it is held in Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Toronto, and Vancouver each year (subject to change at any time). 


I don’t plan to attend more than one conference, is there a discounted rate?

No, the cost for the conference is the same whether you plan to attend a complimentary second Business Transitions Forum conference or not.


Can I transfer the second conference credit to a colleague/partner/friend/etc.? 

No, conference registrations are non-transferable once activated.  Both conferences must be attended by the same person.


Why doesn’t my promo code work for additional tickets? 

Additional registrations are provided at a discount of 50% off the regular price and, therefore, promo codes for further discounts are not valid on additional registrations.


Are the additional group registrations at 50% off also considered a 2-year pass? 

Yes!  All entrepreneur registrations are 2 year passes, valid for a maximum of two Business Transitions Forum conferences.


How do I claim my second complimentary registration for a future conference?  

You will automatically be sent an email from the Business Transitions Forum when registration is launched for any city asking if you would like to claim your registration.  If so, you will be automatically registered.  If you do not receive this email, please contact us at and we will check into your account.
