Tyler is the President & CEO of Lithion Power Group.  In the late 1990’s, Tyler started his involvement in the Oil and Gas industry founding a specialized business manufacturing battery packs for downhole drilling applications.  In 2000, he purchased assets and intellectual property to expand into the manufacturing of primary lithium cells utilized in the Oil & Gas sector. In 2004, he ventured into the MWD (Measuring While Drilling) business where he co-founded Bluestar Tools.  This venture saw the successful manufacture and development of an independent MWD system that was purchased in 2006 by Sondex/GE.

Post leaving Sondex in 2007, Tyler has help to finance and develop several Oil and Gas service companies in Canada and the USA including certain businesses which now reside within the Lithion group of companies.
