Ryan Kennedy is a pharmacist and the former owner of Jean Coutu Pharmacy in Saint John, NB, a 14,000sf location employing 35 individuals at the time of his sale in the fall of 2021. Ryan completed a BSc at the University of New Brunswick in 2000, a PharmD at the University of Maryland in 2004 and an MBA at the University of Baltimore in 2007. He spent the first 4 years of his career working with CVS/Health in New England before relocating to Saint John in 2008 to open his own independent pharmacy. Ryan lives in Saint John with his wife, Karen and their two children, Carson and Nolan.
Ryan is in the process of launching two new small businesses with partners in Atlantic Canada. He is also a founding Board member and current Board Chair of RECAP Health Services Inc in Saint John, is an active volunteer in his community and helps run a 20,000 sf commercial real estate complex that he and Karen co-own.
