Jamie is a Lawyer and Co-Founder of Touchstone Legal Inc., a boutique law firm based in downtown Dartmouth providing a variety of legal services in the areas of business, trusts, estate planning and administration, elder law, mergers and acquisitions, and tax.

Jamie’s practice is focused on all aspects of business and tax law, including corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, and trusts planning.

She provides her clients with practical guidance on the establishment of businesses, corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale transactions, business financing, tax and trust planning, business succession planning and all manners of commercial transactions. Jamie has experience in the negotiation and drafting of general corporate and commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and other commercial agreements. She regularly works with business owners, start-ups , entrepreneurs, private corporations, and enterprises in various industries.

Jamie is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association. She volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors of each of Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic and St. George’s YouthNet Society. She has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course, parts I and II. Jamie was included in the 2022 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada© in the areas of Corporate Law and  Mergers & Acquisitions.
