As a tax partner, Keith works with companies to navigate complex business issues, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. His focus has been on the intricate matters of effective tax planning to maximize opportunities and minimize risk for corporations and individuals.  He assists clients thru the various stages of their business from start-up to growth to M&A, ensuring they meet their financial objectives.  Building strong relationships and contributing to practitioner forums with both the Canada Revenue Agency and Province of Nova Scotia allows him to provide valuable advice to his clients on numerous programs and incentive grants.  Keith is the past National Tax Leader for Grant Thornton, and past Governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation.  Giving back to his community, Keith is currently a member of the board of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust and past member for several other organizations over his career.
