Jim is a partner in the Halifax office of Stewart McKelvey. An Acadia University (BBA) and Dalhousie University (LLB) graduate, Jim was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1993, and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant. His practice focuses on tax, estates and trusts and corporate reorganizations. Jim has authored papers and presented to various professional organizations, including STEP and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
