Tony Scott learned restoration work on the job working for his stepfather beginning in 1979. He attended BCIT in 1984 for building construction and Douglas college in 1985 for construction estimating, he has been working in the restoration industry full-time since 1983. Tony founded Pro-Claim Restoration in 1991 growing the company to 9 million in sales with 80 employees. In 2012 Pro-Claim merged with Platinum Pacific Restoration a smaller company specialising in strata restoration work and became Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration. Since this time the company has grown more quickly reaching over 20 million in sales with 150 highly trained employees using state of the art equipment for flood mitigation, structure and content cleaning, building and structural repairs and hazardous material abatement. Tony has always had a passion for managing his staff and has developed a unique management philosophy that focuses on building a strong team of self motivated people who think independently. In 2017 Tony bought out his minority partner from Platinum Pacific Restoration and is continuing to grow Platinum Pro-Claim into a financially strong well managed company.
