Talbot is the President and CEO of IBV Capital. IBV Capital is a boutique investment management firm with a long history of successfully executing its disciplined absolute value investment philosophy. Today, IBV Capital provides its investment management services to select Canadian investors through managed accounts and its flagship IBV Capital Global Value Fund.

Prior to co-founding IBV Capital, Talbot was responsible for all aspects of a well established Canadian Family Office. As Vice President-Investments, Talbot managed a global investment portfolio as well as the sale of a family business.

Prior to joining the Family Office, Talbot spent 5 years in the commercial real estate investing industry. There he was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, as well as operations and corporate strategic planning.

Talbot holds an Honours Economics and Financial Management degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
