Claude started out in the HVAC business in his teenage years, working with his father at Furnaceman in the Sheet Metal trade.  Claude eventually obtained his Journeyman Sheet Metal certification.  At 21, Claude started his own commercial mechanical company with a partner, called Independent Heating and Mechanical.  In 1991 Claude started a new commercial mechanical venture with another partner, called Ambassador Mechanical Ltd.  Claude has over 44 years of experience owning and operating his own business, growing the company to become one of the largest commercial mechanical companies in Manitoba.  After buying out his partner, Claude eventually sold 75% of the business to Mosaic Capital Corp. in January 2012 as part of a transition plan.  Claude is currently the President of Ambassador Mechanical L.P., continuing to oversee the day to day operations of the business he founded.
