TEC Chair, TEC Canada

Lori Ell is a CPA by training and has over 25 years of broad-based executive experience working with multi-billion dollar, start-up, and mid-market companies in diverse industries including oil & gas, technology, and food manufacturing. As founder and President of Growing Ideas, Lori consults with business leaders who want to better understand their core competencies, define goals and construct a strategic plan that achieves simplicity, accountability and alignment to the organization’s vision. She sits on the boards of the Alberta Food Processors, the Canadian Food Innovators, and the Calgary Co-op. A life-long learner, she has also received her ICD.D in Board Governance from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Recently joining TEC Canada as a peer advisory group Chair, Lori coaches business leaders who want to grow both personally and professionally. Her specialties include business development and coaching, management and leadership development, strategic planning execution, cross-functional management and corporate restructuring.
